Birthday Spankings

I missed Saturday Spankings this week, again, but I have a good excuse this time. It's my birthday! Today! Since both my husband and myself have to work today we celebrated by taking the family out for dinner at a Japanese Hibachi restaurant last night. Neither of my children had ever been to one, but I really like Japanese food and since it was my birthday I picked. I was slightly worried that they'd refuse to eat anything since they've both spent the summer eating nothing but grilled chicken, hamburgers and tacos, on constant rotation. And only one will eat hamburgers and one will eat tacos. Some nights I literally make three different meals- burgers for one, tacos for the other and something else for me and my husband if we're sick of burgers and tacos. It's ridiculous, and entirely my fault, I know. Anyway, you can understand my worry that there might be a revolt over my dinner selection last night. With this in mind I decided to sweeten the pot on the way t

Finally some more Saturday Spankings

I'm finally back in the land of the living, or at least the online world of fun, spanking friends! So sorry I've been absent, but we've been busy getting ready to go back to school and wrapping up our summer fun. And, well, I'm just not very motivated when it's hot out. Now that the weather is cooling down we're almost to my favorite time of the year- fall. There's something about the leaves changing color, and the air turning crisp and cool, that makes me happy. It also seems to motivate me, or maybe it's just the familiar, ingrained routine of getting back to business in the fall. Either way I've got ideas percolating in my little brain that may finally be ready to worm their way out. I'm hoping to hunker down and get productive after weeks of only writing in dribs and drabs. Back to the topic at hand- Saturday Spankings! This week's excerpt is from Surprise Chance. Gina's just had a spanking for yelling at Derek in a most disprespect

#SatSpanks

It's time for Saturday Spankings! Sorry I missed last week, but I'm back with something I hope you'll enjoy. This is another one from Last Chance. Connie's misbehaved again, maybe a little 'accidentally on purpose', and has earned herself a spanking. They're mid-spanking when Nate decides to take things up a notch: Nate reached up and grabbed one of their pillows from the head of the neatly made bed. He gently lifted Connie’s midsection so he could place the pillow underneath her. The added height lifted her behind in the air, giving him the perfect target. He stood and surveyed the picture she made for a minute, enjoying the view. Her ass was a nice bright pink, no deep red or purple marks yet, but it was definitely on fire and hot to the touch. Though he loved the way her black panties looked against her pink skin it was time for those to go away. He slid them down but decided they looked even better half-way down her thighs, then ran his hand back ov

Late Saturday Snippet

So I missed the deadline for Saturday Spankings because life got in the way. But I still wanted to give you a little "something, something" to read. This is from Surprise Chance, my second book. Derek has left Gina hanging after a spanking, but then he calls and gives her a little telephone love to tide her over: “Good. Grab your tits with each hand and start playing with them,” he growled. She complied, stroking and pulling on her breasts. Derek let her play how she wanted for a minute before he started issuing instructions. The sound of his deep voice directing her to tug on her hardened nipples until she hit the line where pleasure meets pain had her on the edge of orgasm. He must have heard the change in her breathing, or maybe it was all the moaning that clued him in, either way he suddenly barked, “Stop! Move your hands away.” The change in his tone jolted her back down from the peak of pleasure and she immediately obeyed. “I didn’t want you to come yet,” he exp

#SatSpanks - My first Saturday Spankings

So it's my first Saturday Spankings, and it's actually the first snippet I've ever posted. I figured since I'm a snippet virgin I'd start with something from my first book, in keeping with the theme of firsts. This is from Last Chance . Connie is over Nate's lap about to have her first punishment spanking after agreeing to incorporate domestic discipline in their relationship. As you can see, it turns out to be more than she expected: His hand fell with a sharp crack, connecting with her cool flesh and instantly heating up her left cheek. The burn quickly spread outward, lighting up her nerve endings. Before she could adjust to the sharp sting he landed another one on her right cheek. The blows rained down quickly, each smack in a slightly different place, so that in no time at all her entire ass was on fire, throbbing and hot. She couldn’t help but squirm and try to get away, thrashing her legs until Nate lifted his left leg and pinned her beneath him. Wi

My Husband's Shorts

I was messing around on Twitter with my feet up after dinner today, when my husband sat down next to me. "Whatcha doing?" "Trying to interact with people on social media so I can build my brand." I'd just read an article saying I should do this, but I haven't figured out how I want to go about actually doing it. Social media is not my thing. I have a personal Facebook account that I haven't used in years. I'm not on LinkedIn. I've never looked at Pinterest. I really have no desire to share where I am, or what I'm doing, with everyone I know. I spend a decent amount of time on Fet but I don't actually post anything- I'm just there to read the articles, I swear! In sum, I'm fumbling my way through all this stuff, trying to decide what I want to say and when. And I was staring at the computer pensing on how to proceed when my husband plopped down at my side. "My shorts have a hole in them." I slid my eyes away

Just cause

Flowers from my garden. Just cause they're pretty and I like them. They're cellphone pics so not that great but they make me smile.

Hot

It's hot where I am. And muggy. And hot. I'm not a fan of being overly warm. I love a good sunny day by the water with a nice breeze blowing in, but this uncomfortable sticky soup, where you don't even want to move let alone be productive and get things done, is not something I'm fond of at all. Not that I imagine most people are, but what makes it worse is that I don't have air conditioning. There are two window units in my children's rooms but otherwise my house is not centrally cooled, which blows. There is no escape from the heat. What is the point of all this whining and complaining and bitching and moaning, other than the fact that it highlights why I need a new house? Well, I'm not writing. I'm not really doing much of anything, except when I'm going to concerts and picnics and all those things you do in the summer for the precious few months of vacation and nice weather we get in the north. But when I'm home, lately, I've been doi

Surprise Chance is out!

My second book in the Chance series, Surprise Chance , is out now! Here's the description: Derek's been lusting after Gina for months, trying to get her to go out with him, and when that fails, fabricating guys nights at their mutual friend's house when she's studying with his buddy Nate's wife. But she turns him down every time, refusing to explain why. Then finally after Nate and Connie's wedding he gets his chance and makes a move, only to have her run out on him in the morning. Then she dodges him for a week, leaving Derek fed up yet wanting more. So he takes matters into his own hands, determined to show her that they'd be perfect together even if he has to do it over his knee. Gina knows Derek's interested in her, how could she not with him asking her for a date every time he sees her, but she knows they wouldn't be a good match. Sure he's good looking, smart, fun and an all around nice guy, but she has needs. Needs that only a certain ki

Exciting News!

I haven't posted in a few weeks but have some good news. I completed Gina and Derek's book on time and submitted it to my publisher mid-May. This week I heard back and they've accepted it for publication! I'm super excited! I don't have a release date yet, but will let you know as soon as I do. And I'll be back soon to share some info on Gina and Derek's journey into DD.

Goals

I didn't make my goal of finishing Derek and Gina's story by the end of March. In fact, it's now mid-April and I'm only about half way through. It was a highly ambitious goal, in fact it was overly ambitious, but I knew that when I set it. And that's perfectly fine with me. I knew it was unlikely I'd finish a book, even a novella, in less than sixty days. I work full-time and have a family, along with a side business. I'm Busy. But I wanted to set the goal to see if I could do it, and I do this often with my writing. I'm sure some people will say this puts me in a situation where I'll be constantly failing, never accomplishing my goals, but I don't see it that way. I need to always have something out there, in the distance, that I'm striving for or else I get bored and restless. I'm the type of person who always needs to feel challenged, even if I'm the one setting the challenge. The high of accomplishing the goal wears off quickly

Last Chance on Amazon

Last Chance is now available on Amazon ! Please check it out and leave a review. I appreciate any and all feedback. I'm still plugging away on Gina and Derek's story, though not as much as I should be. A trip to NYC last weekend derailed my progress since I didn't write one single word the whole time I was gone. I did, however, have a great time, so there's that. And today I'm sitting on the couch underneath an afghan with my hubby watching cable television, but that's also time well spent. I guess I'll just have to get back on track tomorrow.

Thank you!

Thanks to all who've left such positive reviews for Last Chance on Blushing Books. I'm so glad you enjoyed Connie and Nate's story! I appreciate any feedback and would love to hear from my readers. For those who asked, I am working on Gina and Derek's story right now. Fun fact about me: I write my books by hand, then type them. So there's about a week or two delay between what I have in my notebook and what I have on the computer. Seems like a lot of work but I've found when I get to the end I have very little editing to do because the typed version is really draft number two. And I like the freedom of being able to carry my notebook with me and write whenever the urge strikes me, and when I'm traveling for my Day Job I don't have haul my laptop around with me. I'm tentatively hoping to finish G and D's story by the end of March. That may be ambitious but it's my goal right now, and if I blow it maybe I'll end up getting a spanking!

First Post, First Book

Today my first book was released by Blushing Books! Last Chance is a novella about Nate and Connie and their journey into domestic discipline. It's an emotional story about a couple finding out what they need to make their relationship work. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Please click on the link to the right or on my Books page to purchase from Blushing. I'll be adding links to other retailers as they become available. The blog is a work in progress, so please bear with me as I'll be updating and making changes over the next few days and weeks until I get it just right. More to come soon!
